The Firm assists companies inlitigation against business partners, distributors, clients and suppliers, carefully planning the defensive strategy to be adopted, in order to save time and costs in court. At the beginning of each strategic planning, the Firm tries to settle the dispute through pre-litigation activities of negotiation and proposal of settlement agreements. The attorneys in the litigation department have gained experience in disputes of a specialized character, proposing (where possible) alternative actions to ordinary litigation or emergency actions for the protection of trademarks and distinctive signs or for the protection of sensitive material that companies claim from distributors or retail chains.

In the field of international trade relations, the Firm pays great attention to the devolution of disputes to arbitration boards created ad hoc or already established at International Chambers of Commerce or local Chambers of Commerce. In the past, the Firm has paid great attention to disputes arising from sales in the People’s Republic of China, implementing an arbitration procedure that is easier to settle.

The Litigation Department also follows companies in disputes before Administrative Courts, against Public Administrations or Administrative Authorities, in the areas of Privacy, Competition and Public Waters Court.

In synergy with its Tax Partner, the Firm assists companies in disputes against the Tax Agency, both in ordinary proceedings and in requests for suspension of the enforcement of tax bills. The Firm can also provide assistance in complex negotiations with the Tax Agency in Tax Transactions and related special proceedings.
